Gallery Larik presents Marjolijn de Wit, Michiel ten Bokum and Simon Schrikker. Three leading painters who each know how to create their own world in their own way. Are there similarities? Yes, paint as a medium. Are there differences? Yes, the technique and visual language. By combining three different ways of painting, a great tension is created between the works, which makes the exhibition challenging and attractive. The viewer is asked to look carefully and is invited to give their own interpretation of what is on display. Associating is allowed, but is at your own risk. The three contemporaries De Wit, Ten Bokum and Schrikker show mainly new work in this exhibition and show that the painting, once declared dead, is still alive.
