In 2019, the legendary European Ceramic Work Center (EKWC) celebrates its 50th anniversary. A wide range of now highly renowned visual artists, architects and designers from all over the world visit the center to realize concepts, ideas and dreams in clay, relying on the available expert technicians and world-class facilities. First established in Heusden, then in Den Bosch and since 2015 in Oisterwijk, the center is a bastion of, for and by artists. It is committed to the development of ceramics in the visual arts, design and architecture. On the one hand it functions as a knowledge center, on the other hand as an artist's residence, in English center-of-excellence and artists-in-residence. In addition, Sundaymorning @ ekwc, as the center has been calling itself for some time, is open to higher education,
