This group exhibition features artwork informed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Through painting, drawing, screen-printed fabric, collage and photography, the seven artists featured in this exhibition explore the isolation, grief, peculiar challenges and unexpected moments of humor of the pandemic. See artworks made in response to this strange, unprecendented time we are all experiencing together.

About the Artists
Teresa Dunn is a Mexican American artist raised in rural Southern Illinois. Her identity, life, and art is poetically influenced by being suspended between two cultural heritages. Dunn received her MFA from Indiana University Bloomington in 2002. She is a three-time recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Fellowship and received the Jacob K. Javits Fellowship from the US Department of Education. Dunn is represented by First Street Gallery in NYC and Galerie l’Échaudé in Paris, France. Teresa Dunn is currently an Associate Professor of Painting and Drawing at Michigan State University in East Lansing where she has taught since 2006.
Through her life-sized drawn, painted, and screen-printed fabric installations, Kay Healy investigates themes of home, loss, displacement, and resilience with interview-based projects. Healy received a BA from Oberlin College, and an MFA from the University of the Arts. Her installation Coming Home was purchased by the Pennsylvania Convention Center, and her work was supported by the Independence Foundation’s Fellowship in the Arts. Healy has had solo exhibitions at Gallery Madison Park in New York City, Gallery Septima in Tokyo, Japan, the Windgate Gallery in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts, and the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and other galleries. She lives and works in Philadelphia.
Heidi Hogden received a BFA in painting from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minneapolis, MN (2008) and an MFA in studio art from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in affiliation with Tufts University in Boston, MA (2012). Hogden received an artist’s grant to attend the Vermont Studio Center Artist Residency in Johnson, VT (2014 and 2018) and was the Windgate Artist-In-Residence at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, AR from 2015 to 2017. Hogden’s work has been published in the Boston Globe (2012), Studio Visit Magazine (2018), and Manifest’s International Drawing Annual (2016 and 2020). She has had the opportunity to show and present her work in eleven solo exhibitions, including the McGladrey Art Gallery at Bentley University in Waltham, MA (2013), the Fine Arts Center Gallery at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR (2019), and the CICA Museum in Gimpo, North Korea (upcoming, 2021).
Marina Kassianidou was born in Limassol, Cyprus, and currently lives and works between Limassol and Boulder, Colorado, USA. She has a BA in Studio Art from Stanford University, an MA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London, UK, and a PhD in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts, London, UK. She has been awarded fellowships at the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences, Ragdale Foundation, and Residencia Internacional de Arte Can Serrat, among others. She is a recipient of the 2016 Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters and Sculptors Grant. She is currently Assistant Professor in Art Practices at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Rebecca Morgan received a BA from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and her MFA from Pratt Institute, NY. Press for her work includes The New York Times, Time Out New York, Hyperallergic, ARTnews, Whitehot Magazine, Artslant, Juxtapoz, and many others. She is the recipient of residencies at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, The Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts Residency, a Vermont Studio Center full fellowship, and the George Rickey Residency at Yaddo, among others. Morgan has exhibited widely in the United States and abroad, with recent exhibitions at BravinLee Projects New York, NY; Mother Gallery, Beacon, NY; Oakland University Art Gallery, Beacon, NY; Western Exhibitions, IL; Mana Contemporary, NJ; Greenpoint Terminal Gallery, NY; The Vancouver Art Gallery, Canada; The Hole, NY; MRS Gallery, NY; Marinaro Gallery, NY; Hashimoto Contemporary, CA; Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild, NY; Fisher Parrish Gallery, NY; Woskob Family Gallery at Penn State, PA; Knoll Galerie, Austria; Richard Heller Gallery, CA; Children’s Museum of Art, NY; and SPRING/BREAK art fair, NY.
Areca Roe is an Assistant Professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she teaches photography and video. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and she has also received several grants and fellowships in support of her work, including the Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant and the Art(ists) on the Verge Fellowship. Her work has been featured on sites such as Colossal, Slate, National Geographic, Juxtapoz, WIRED, and Fast Company, and in Der Spiegel Wissen magazines.
Lisa Walcott received her MFA in Sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2010, and has since created and exhibited her work nationally at venues including Land of Tomorrow in Louisville, KY, Sadie Halie Projects in Minneapolis, MN and The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum in East Lansing, MI. She has attended residencies at Ox-Bow School of Art, ACRE and Three Walls. Walcott teaches sculpture at Hope College in Holland, MI. Her work grapples with and makes light of the perils of daily life using kinetic sculpture, installation, drawing, and photography.
