Juxtapoz Magazine is excited to announce the opening of our first brick and mortar gallery space, bookstore and artist-in-residence program –Juxtapoz Projects. Debuting this fall in Jersey City at Mana Contemporary, the space will kick off its grand opening with a dynamic group exhibition titled Re_ARRANGE. Featuring the works of over twenty-five local New York and New Jersey artists, the exhibition is a tightly curated showcase of contemporary painting and sculpture. An opening reception will be held on October 14 from 5—10pm, and will be on view through November 30, 2018. 

Alongside the exhibition, Juxtapoz will unveil a new bookstore, directly adjacent to the gallery, complete with issues of the magazine, artist editions and objects as well as a self published zines and books. Featuring a wide array of different objects and reading materials, the store will function as a display for up-and-coming artists to promote their work as well as to carry a range of collectibles and books for every kind of art lover.

Lastly, Juxtapoz Projects will be rotating a three-month long residency program for artists on the basement level of Mana Contemporary. Situated among Mana’s own artist tenants, Juxtapoz Projects will select two artists every three months to produce a series in the shared space and then subsequently display the work created in the program upstairs in the gallery portion of the project.
